SHOKAN OMAROV

Shokan Omarov graduated from Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages and studied at the Clingendael Institute of International Relations (Netherlands). 

 ​

He has held positions including First Secretary of the Department of Foreign Economic Policy in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2016-2018), Third, Second Secretary at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in France (2011-2016), Head of the Division of International Relations at the Ministry of Communications and Information of Kazakhstan (2010-2011) and the Expert at the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan (2008-2010).

 

He assumed his current position in October 2018.
